I’m super excited to announce that as of 9/1/20, LeadBoost is now RocketForms!
Why are we changing the name?
Well, when we choose the name LeadBoost, we went too broad. This confused new and existing users. We noticed that prospects weren’t exactly sure what LeadBoost does. In fact, many people came to us thinking that LeadBoost was an agency. We also noticed that existing users had trouble talking about the forms in conversation.
We quickly realized that we made a mistake by using the name LeadBoost.
So, to help clear up any confusion and to be as descriptive as possible about what the product is, we’re changing out name to RocketForms.
Why RocketForms?
I spent a lot of time thinking about a new name.
When choosing the name, my goal was to go with something just a little different, but still simple enough that anyone can understand.
Consider this:
Just to get a rocket into orbit it needs to reach a speed of over 17,000 miles per hour in a pretty short time. There’s so much that goes into rocket propulsion to reach such speeds. The rocket needs to literally explode into a huge ball of fire and fight forces like gravity and drag.
Now let’s relate this to forms.
If you think about the ordinary lead capture form, it has a ton of friction. In user experience, friction is defined as interactions that inhibit people from intuitively and painlessly achieving their goals within a digital interface.
Anytime that someone lands on your form to submit their info, they are dealing with friction. This includes: your form’s design, the little captcha box that people hate filling out, the validation, where on your site the form even exists in the first place, how leads are delivered to you, and so on.
This friction costs businesses countless leads.
The name RocketForms speaks to our goal of removing as much of this friction as possible with sleek, interactive forms that enable people to zip through your forms, while providing you with the information that you need.
If we reduce friction in your forms, you get more leads. It’s that simple.
We also included the word “Forms” so we can stay hyper-focused on what we do best — providing marketers and small business owners with powerful forms that can be setup and deployed quickly.
The name might be a bit limiting. And Rocketforms may never become more than a form tool, but I’m okay with that. It doesn’t need to be more than that. There’s plenty of innovation that we can still do to make the very best, highest converting forms out there.
Same great product, different name.
Thanks so much for reading and staying patient as we finish rolling out our branding changes.
